Jocelyn was born in Venezuela and raised in Utah. Her interest in physical therapy began when she accompanied her dad to his rehab sessions after shoulder surgery where she was drawn to the supportive, upbeat environment and knew she wanted to be part of it. Jocelyn graduated with her Associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Austin Community College in 2025. Before becoming a PTA, she worked as a physical therapy technician for Austin Sports Medicine, where she now returns as a licensed clinician—an experience that feels full circle.
Jocelyn believes physical therapy works best when it’s personal. She enjoys getting to know each patient and creating a supportive, upbeat environment tailored to their goals. Her favorite part of the job is finding ways to make the recovery process not only effective but also fun!
Outside the clinic, Jocelyn enjoys cheering on Austin FC, exploring new restaurants with her husband, and spending time with her dog, Moose. She is also bilingual in English and Spanish and loves using that skill to connect with more members of her community.
