Douglas Elenz, M.D.

A board certified orthopaedic surgeon, Douglas Elenz has been practicing in Austin since 1996. He completed a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopic Surgery Fellowship at Orthopaedic Research of Virginia/Tuckahoe Orthopaedic Associates in Richmond, Virginia. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas-Houston Medical School and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the McGraw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Elenz’s orthopaedic training includes experience covering both the Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Steelers professional sports teams.

Dr. Elenz earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin where he was a two-time captain and seven-time NCAA All American for the Longhorn Swim Team. He is a sports enthusiast and continues to enjoy running, swimming, and traveling.
